TM17pro was born from our journey raising four soccer-loving kids across two continents — and our mission to help families navigate youth soccer with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
We’ve lived it all — from backyard games to elite academies, scholarships, injuries, and even professional contracts. As parents, we’ve cheered until we were hoarse, paced hospital hallways, and asked ourselves more than once if we were doing the right thing.
Through it all, one thing became clear: families need honest guidance — not guesswork — when navigating youth development in soccer. That’s why we started TM17pro.

A Missed Flight.
A Connection That Lasted a Decade.
Some of the best things in life happen when plans fall apart. Our story with Toronto is proof of that.
We missed a flight and found ourselves with an unexpected layover in Toronto. Instead of sitting in the airport, we drove to Niagara Falls — and something shifted. The scale of it, the power, the beauty. It became a spiritual place for us. A reminder that the unplanned moments are often the most meaningful. We left with a deep feeling that we would come back.
Five years later, our connection deepened in the most personal way possible — we welcomed our son-in-law into the family, and he’s from Ontario. Suddenly Toronto wasn’t just a place we loved. It was family. Canada became part of our story in a way we never could have planned from that airport terminal all those years before.
During one of our online coaching seminars, we met Tariq Adam — a UEFA C Licensed coach who had completed his coaching education pathway in Berlin. His understanding of the game, his eye for talent, his technical intelligence — it was immediately clear this was someone special.
In 2025, we visited Toronto for a live scouting day. What we experienced confirmed everything we had sensed online. Tariq’s sessions were sharp, structured, and demanding — exactly the kind of environment where players grow. We knew then that he was the right person to lead TM17pro in Toronto.
During the UEFA C coaching courses in Berlin in 2025, we got to know Christian Baudanza — and the connection was immediate. His network, his recommendations, and his collaboration with our German goalkeeper academy spoke for themselves. But what really sealed it was his constant presence at our Soccer Circle Stammtisch — the regular gathering where coaches, scouts, and soccer people come together. You get to know who someone really is around a table like that. Christian feels like someone we’ve known for decades.
Since that scouting day, we have met several highly talented players and fascinating player personalities in Toronto — high-potential athletes whose development excites us. Toronto’s soccer scene is rich, diverse, and hungry for exactly the kind of European methodology we bring. Our mission now is clear: to extend this bridge, build more soccer opportunities, and connect Toronto’s best young players to the world.

Mirko brings hands-on coaching experience and a sharp eye for identifying potential at every level. With years spent on the ground in both Germany and the US, he has built an international network of coaches, scouts, and mentors who believe in development — not shortcuts.
As a coach, Mirko’s philosophy is direct and honest — the German way. He tells players what they need to hear, not what’s comfortable. And it works. He has helped countless young athletes find the right path, in soccer and in life.

We first met Christian in one of the UEFA C coaching courses in Berlin in 2025. His knowledge, dedication, and specialist eye for goalkeeper development impressed us immediately — the ideal voice for GK development in Toronto and across Canada.
